Delhi will face a huge massive protest soon. More than 5000 the landless farmers have warned that if the government does not fulfill their promises then they will resort to massive satyagrah. These landless farmers have been demanding justice to save their land, livelihood and their way of life. They are not ready to sacrifice their land in the name of SEZs, industrialization and façade in the name of economic development. They want their land back.  This rally was a preliminary exercise for the 2011 mega protest. Ekta Parishad has revealed that they will repeat 2007. More than one Lakh farmers and tribal will resort to Satyagrah in Delhi. In 2007, 25,000 framers marched from Gwalior to Delhi. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did make some promises which are still unfulfilled.

Now the question is why demands of the rich and powerful are fulfilled without a whisper while the poor and landless people have to fight on the street to get just a hearing. The fact is, in the rural India government agencies, land mafia, the powerful and rich are working like gangs to confiscate the lands of farmers and forest, driving away the tribes and poor from their sacred land.

It is high time the ruling class should understand that if these farmers loose their patience, then the situation will go out of hand.
