Pakistan`s government and army face off

The dispute between the Pakistan government and the Army is constantly widening and the government is denying the face off. As soon as the news came that the government wants to remove Army chief and ISI chief, an immediate narration came from Prime Minister Gilani stating rumors are being spread to destabilize the government. If the government’s intensions were the same then it would not have provided General Kyani and Lt. General Ahmed Pasha a service extension, he added.

Pak–US bitter relation; Not fit for India
Pak–US bitter relation; Not fit for India

Pakistan and America relations are turning sour in taste. US president Barak Obama showed his condolence on the Pakistani soldiers who were killed in NATO attacks. But, despite taking any responsibility he blamed NATO. As a result, the Pak government stopped all the supplies to Afghanistan through Pak route, also emptied the Shamsi airport. However, America has not commented on the bitter taste in US Pak relations. USA still consider Pakistan`s support as most important in the fight against terrorism.

Is it sign of another cold war?
Is it sign of another cold war?

After the dissolution of Soviet Union, It was considered that the cold war is over. Also, communist alliance was getting weaker. Russia was strategically strong but was not capable to expand communism globally because of its weaker economic condition. USA became the strongest. But, just 20 years later, the fear of cold war is emerging again and now China is at the place of Russia. Most interestingly, there is no clash between communism and capitalism this time, but a struggle to prove superiority. This struggle is between America and China.

Technocracy Trumps Democracy?
Technocracy Trumps Democracy?

In Greece, the birthplace of democracy, the first blow fell last week. The democratically elected Prime Minister George Papandreou, son and grandson of Prime Ministers, leader of PASOK, the Greek Socialist Party, was forced to resign. His sin was to have proposed a referendum in which the people of Greece would be consulted about the severity of the debt repayment schedule which Greece had to agree to.

THE IDEA CALLED OSAMA
THE IDEA CALLED OSAMA

Hoopla in the US Parliament where the confusion and fear of death loomed so very large that lion hearted leaders of the world were seen pushing, nudging and throwing each other to just get out of the building that controls the world. This was unfathomable even in the wildest of dreams before the fateful day of 9th September 2001. Thereafter this was repeated many a time.

Foreign Powers in the struggle for Democracy
Foreign Powers in the struggle for Democracy

Libya is still in trouble. Indeed Muammar Gaddafi who lost the faith of people is not ready to step down; on the other hand the rebels are fighting for change. Amidst this the armed forces of NATO have joined hands with rebels to fight against Gaddafi. This is indeed exemplary. The biggest question is raised over how much0 military aid by NATO is valid. There are lot of people who think that jehadis have joined anti-Gadaffi rebels and are cunningly manipulating this situation trying to implant radicalism and terrorism in Libya. First nothing such has been seen in Libya and the citizens have defeated the evil intentions of Gaddafi. Second, Gaddafi himself was behind many terrorist acts including Lockerbie Bombing and attack on Israeli contingent in Munich Olympics.
