Dizzy identity
Dizzy identity

The 2011 World cup is on its adventurous phase. Like always, there will be many turn around. Just to make the group list long, minnows are included in this world cup. Interestingly, by defeating the big teams they have astoundingly marked their presence. The names of those teams are Ireland, Netherland, Zimbabwe, Canada and Bangladesh.

One thing is common among all these teams, as notably the name of these teams have been heard in international cricket when ever world cups are organized, later they are evanesced. However, in this case Bangladesh is an exception as it could be seen in cricket competition in Asian Countries.

Eden Garden: the Mecca of Cricket Stigmatized

Opening batsman and former Test captain of Sri Lanka Marvan Atapattu once referred to bureaucratic bunglers as “Jokers led by a Muppet”. This comment suits well even the current mandarins of the Cricket Association of Bengal and a similar hidebound bunch of middle-aged groupies. CAB, President Jag Mohan Dalmiya termed the, Eden Gardens as ”un-favorable and disappointing”. Majority of people are annoyed with Cricket Association of Bengal. Eden Garden has always been considered as the best stadium in the country. In the past, many matches were organized in Eden Garden.
